Jireh Industrial Services (JIS) was founded in 1993 by husband-and-wife team Tom and Marci Duby. With Marci’s acumen for admin and Tom’s almost-supernatural ability to figure out, fix, and engineer just about anything, JIS became a go-to resource for residential and commercial construction projects. As the years passed and the team grew, we refined our expertise with concrete repairs and facilities maintenance. In 2023, we added air pollution control to our roster of services.
As a multigenerational family-owned business, we benefit from the decades of hard-won wisdom gained by Tom and Marci, and combine it with the energy and new ideas of our next generation of leaders: Candace Duby, Beth Duby, and Randal Paul.
Transitioning the leadership to the Duby daughters, it’s been empowering to see them busting stereotypes about what’s possible for women in construction. As JIS continues to grow, we hope to expand our network of woman-owned businesses and help women thrive in the construction industry.
After 30+ years building Jireh Industrial from the ground up, our co-founder Tom Duby now serves the company in an advisory role, passing insight and knowledge to the next generation of leaders and consulting on special projects that require his signature out-of-the-box thinking and creative solutions.
With her encyclopedia knowledge of business admin, Marci is our operations guru. She handles our finances, insurance, legal, and HR needs, and is the team’s sounding board, arbitrator, and tie-breaker. With her steadfast presence and keen ability to forecast, Marci ensures our decisions serve the business now and in the future.
Candace is our conductor, orchestrating our work behind the scenes. Whether she’s masterminding our schedule, communicating with customers, or ordering materials and products, Candace serves as our voice of reason and detail-wrangler, ensuring our projects are well-planned and run smoothly.
Since our acquisition of Serbaco, Bethany has been the primary driver of our environmental services. With her tech-savvy and heart for people, she has gained the trust of Serbaco’s former customers, modernized processes and programs, and educated the JIS team about best practices, system design, and equipment.
If you schedule a walk-through, you’ll likely have the pleasure of meeting Randal. That’s because he excels at listening to our customers’ goals and challenges, and we have complete confidence that he can help you define and prioritize the work. As onsite foreman, he brings attention to detail and a leadership style that’s steady yet flexible.
Jeremy came to JIS with seven years of experience in environmental sales and installation, plus 14 years working in industrial environments. With his wealth of experience, he offers a range of services: troubleshooting and maintenance, recommending systems and installations, and procuring equipment.
Ana is a versatile team player who easily pivots to handle the wide variety of work we do as a small business. She provides operations support in the form of parts ordering, shipping, customer communications, and invoicing. In the field, she serves as an APC technician, supporting Bethany in the inspection process.
